PMI is the group’s point of contact for capital. From Tampa, we structure each project in its own special purpose vehicle (SPV), with long-term energy contracts, and look for equity and project debt to take it to construction. GIS Power develops and builds the projects, and operates them for the life of the contract.
Aggregated figures for the group’s identified portfolio (project CAPEX), developed by GIS Power. Project-level detail is shared under a confidentiality agreement.
The thesis
Contracted energy, infrastructure operated for decadesIndustry, industrial parks and data centers need continuous power and cannot always wait for the grid. An on-site generation project with a long-term energy contract with a creditworthy user turns that need into predictable cash flows.
The group brings what makes a project bankable: structuring and capital through PMI, and development, permits, construction and operations through GIS Power. It has done this work in critical infrastructure since 1983 and has operated power plants in Mexico since 2009.
Projects can be structured as SPVs with sponsor co-investment, power purchase agreements (PPA), leasing or BOOT.
When we are not your counterparty
- If you need short-term liquidity: these are long-term assets.
- If you are looking to acquire operating assets: the portfolio is in feasibility and development.
- If your mandate excludes construction risk.
Structure
How each project is structured
What you will find in the data roomOne SPV per project
Ring-fenced assets, contracts and debt, with each investor’s stake held in that company.
Energy contract
PPA, energy as a service or BOOT with the user, with a defined rate, term and performance targets.
Payment trust
The user’s payments flow into a trust that services the debt first.
Permits and interconnection
The path and status of each filing, documented.
Single-point construction
Design, procurement and construction by GIS Power.
Operations and reporting
Operations with contractual availability and regular investor reporting.
How we protect capital
Five layers between your investment and the project’s risksEach layer covers a different risk. None of them removes risk entirely; together they reduce it and make it visible before you invest.
- 1One SPV per projectAssets, contracts and debt sit in a company created for that project only, separate from the sponsors and from the group’s other projects.
- 2Payment trustPayments flow into a trust that covers operating costs, debt and reserves in a fixed order before any distribution.
- 3EPC bonds and guaranteesPerformance and advance-payment bonds from the contractor, plus manufacturer and performance guarantees on the main equipment.
- 4Construction and operation insuranceConstruction all-risk cover and, in operation, property damage and business interruption policies.
- 5Independent engineerAn independent engineer reviews design, construction progress and start-up on behalf of lenders and investors; a data room supports your own due diligence.
How we work with investors
From first conversation to closeWe share information in order: first the aggregate view and, once confidentiality is signed, the detail of each project.
- 01 · Confidentiality agreement
We sign an NDA to share portfolio information.
- 02 · Teaser
The portfolio with its size, terms and structure, project by project.
- 03 · Data room
Financial models, contracts, permits and engineering for your due diligence.
- 04 · Terms
Participation structure in each SPV and closing conditions.
- 05 · Close and construction
Financial close, construction and reporting during operations.

Frequently asked questions
What kind of investor are you looking for?
Infrastructure and energy funds, family offices, development banks and commercial banks, for equity or project debt.
Can I invest in a single project?
Yes. Each project sits in its own SPV, so participation can be set per project or for a group of projects.
